St Patricks Church

Welcome to St Patrick's Church, Salter Street.

The main services are on Sunday morning, with a small spoken service of Holy Communion at 8 am and with the main service of Communion at 11.00am. On most Sundays in term time there is a Junior Church. St Patrick’s seeks be a service that is open to people of all ages with a style of worship that all can feel part of.

Originally built in the middle of the nineteenth century the oldest part of St Patrick’s is now the tower built around 1860, with the main body of the church being built at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century and then adapted a few years ago with the extension of the undercroft downstairs at the back of the church and the addition of a kitchen toilets and office. The beauty of the inside of the building strikes many as they enter the building for worship.
